Race Safety wearables

As stated in the “Race Rules” (Rev. 07.02.2025), all 2025 race participants are required to wear certain safety clothing. These requirements will be strictly enforced.

RUNNERS (Individual & Team Members), INDIVIDUAL RUNNER CREW and TEAM DRIVERS:

During all daylight hours whenever outside a vehicle, each is required to wear a race-provided highly visible reflective “vest” that will clearly identify them as Daytona100 participants. This serves as an additional reminder to the public of a race in progress. This race-provided “vest” is shown in the margin. ALL individual runners and team members will receive one at check-in AND be given one for each registered crew member and team driver.

At nighttime--defined for Daytona100 as 5:00pm until 7:00am--each participant must also wear clearly visible flashing colored lights, front and rear. Nighttime option: as an alternative to wearing the required daytime reflective garment plus lights, participants may change to their preference of reflective garment plus lights. One that incorporates flashing lights, such as Noxgear, is acceptable.

Participants who are not actively running or crewing AND REMAIN INSIDE THE SUPPORT VEHICLE may remove their reflective gear.
